Terms and conditions for sales and delivery
In the following you will find useful information for the use of online booking. You can read about how we handle the information you enter, how you receive a receipt for a purchase and much more. In the following, where it is written Esbjerg Camping A/S this is used as a synonym for Esbjerg Camping A/S.
All prices given in the Esbjerg Camping A/S online booking system are, as elsewhere on the website, given in Danish kroner, including VAT and all taxes, unless otherwise stated and made clear in that situation.
Payment is made by use of one of the accepted debit/credit cards for online booking, including Dankort, Visa, Mastercard and Diners.
Information on shopping on the Internet
You can safely shop online through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are basically ensured in relation to any misuse of your credit card online, therefore there is no risk of misuse of your credit card via the Internet. You can read more about how as a consumer you should deal with payments on the internet at the following websites: www.betaling.dk, www.fdih.dk.
Change of booking
To change a booking you must contact the Campsite.
When booking and paying for a chalet, a rental tent, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan, you will be presented with a booking confirmation/contract from Esbjerg Camping A/S, which will include a statement for your purchase. The contract can be printed out from the website after completing the booking, and is also sent via email immediately after the purchase if the correct e-mail address is given by the purchaser.
Delivery of the ordered product takes place on arrival at Esbjerg Camping A/S on the day of arrival (and ends on the day of departure). Both of these dates are given in the above contract. The ordered product cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
Right of cancellation and refunds
You have the option to cancel your booking under the following conditions:
If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, the entire package price is refunded, though DKK 500.00 is deducted as an administration fee.
If cancelled between 30 days and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the price of the stay is refunded.
If cancelled less 14 days before arrival, there will be no refund.
If you started your holiday with us, the period booked is binding and cannot be transferred to others.
Recording of information
Esbjerg Camping A/S records your name, your address, your e-mail address and other information submitted in connection with the acquisition in its customer list. This information is not given to others, but Esbjerg Camping A/S retains the information for 5 years.
Esbjerg Camping A/S uses server side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the page.
Payment by credit card takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the Internet.
Esbjerg Camping A/S is not responsible for price errors in online booking, as it is always the prices stated on the website that are valid.
Handling of complaints
If for some reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, then you can write to the following address or telephone number.
Complaints about the booking procedure, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the mistake or should have discovered the mistake by looking through your contract. You can complain in writing or orally. One year after receiving the item (the stay), the right to claim under the Sale of Goods Act §83, par. 1 is terminated, unless otherwise agreed.
When Esbjerg Camping A/S receives a complaint about a product, the complaint is processed as quickly as possible. Esbjerg Camping A/S will decide whether the goods received should be refunded, exchanged or whether a reduction in price should be given.
